I hope you’re as well as you can be given the circumstances….
Did you put a bit of Covid wellness plan together?
Managing our well being and mental health may require you to say ‘NO’ sometimes even to family or friends. This doesn’t mean that you don’t care for them or are being selfish….
Far from it – It means that you are showing them that you need take care of your own needs first before you can spread it around. If you don’t, the consequences can look like:
- Burn out
- Snappy & Fatigue
- Irrational thinking
- Tiredness
- Not wanting to speak to anyone
When you’re starting to feel that way – it’s your body and mind telling you enough is enough! and because the messaging is clear – it’s time to act on it.
A word of warning though!
Whilst you’re acting on this – other people may not be and are expecting you to show up the same.
So be aware of this by being kind and firm – they too will reap the benefits when they ‘get’ what you’re trying to do and hopefully want to do it for themselves too!
I saw this clip from a thought leader I really admire and I thought I’d quite like to share his tips with you below:
Remember please keep safe and well.
